All of the domains listed here originally had web sites designed by me. Most of the organizations listed here began their web presence with my assistance.

     Now in 2007, many of these organizations are on their own. I work mainly with the Atlanta Regional Commission, but I continue to develop new sites and to consult for some long-time clients.

The Atlanta Regional Commission

     I originally went to work for ARC in 1998 as Webmaster and left in 2000 for a consulting position. Between 2001 and 2005, I did additional web development for them on a contract basis. ARC recently (Oct., '05) asked me back to help with their new web site (right) and I agreed to stay on indefinitely as Web Site Coordinator.

     As Webmaster from '98 to '01, I was responsible for the design, development, and enhancements for internet and intranet projects for the agency as a whole and for a variety of departments within the ARC. I managed all ARC web projects from initial requirements, through development and implementation, to enhancements and maintenance.

     Team leader for the efforts of a group including graphics designers, content providers, database, VB, and ASP programmers and outside vendors.

     Coded HTML and designed some graphics. Guided development of ASP and VB coders. Marketed and promoted all web sites with banner ad and link exchange programs, search engine registration techniques, and public outreach efforts.

     Since returning to ARC as Web Site Coordinator in 2007, my team and I have redesigned all of the interdepartmental and special program web sites run by the agency. We have incorporated them into the RedDot content management system and trained staff members as content providers. Users may navigate to all of these sites using the drop down link list in the top right corner of any of them. New sites are coming online often.

Druid Hills Civic Association www.druidhills.org      Online payment (paypal) for membership, donations, and "Tour of Homes" tickets.      Trained admin who now maintains the site with MS Frontpage.      Currently (2007) setting up members' only section with private forum inside.

Jazz Society of Pensacola  www.jazzpensacola.com      I designed this site in 1995 and it is a simple one, but the people at the JSOP maintain it themselves, promote it well, and utilize it better than any other group I've worked with other than the Atlanta Regional Commission. It has become a popular and heavily trafficked site.

Bayfront Gallery  www.bayfrontgallery.com        I designed this site in 1995 and still maintain it. The owners of the gallery have sold a considerable amount of artwork through the site. They are happy with the simple look and feel and do their own maintenance.

The Arts Council of Northwest Florida

     I designed this site in 1995 and maintained it through 2003 with one major rebuild (right). This site was heavily trafficked for many years and probably still is.

I conducted a workshop (paid for by the Florida Dept of State) periodically for the Arts Council whose purpose was to train North Florida Arts Organizations to develop and maintain their own sites. 

Pensacola Opera www.pensacolaopera.com      I designed their original web site in 1998 and redesigned it once a year afterward to correspond with the new theme for each new season. I maintained this site until 2004 when an Opera volunteer took over maintenance.

Pensacola Symphony Orchestra  www.pensacolasymphony.com      I designed the original site in 1997 and seasonally redesigned and maintained the web site for the Pensacola Symphony until 2004 when a local (Pensacola) design and hosting company redesigned it and took over its maintenance.

     I designed this site while living in New Orleans in 1997. I managed it for a couple of years before leaving New Orleans and someone else has been maintaining it since then.

Appleyard Advertising Agency

     I designed a web site for the Appleyard Agency in 1996. Before taking the maintenance over themselves, I trained the graphics department at the agency on methods for preparing graphics for use on web sites.
